This Marbelite swimming pool had an aged and worn surface and faded pool mosaics.
POOL RENOVATION INCLUDED:
- Storage of the pool water in our installed Porta Pools for the duration of the Pool re-lining.
- The pool surface was sanded down and the new Fibreglass lining in light blue was applied.
- Ceramic pool mosaics were applied around the circumference of the pool and on the step area.
- A l.e.d. blue retro-fit pool light was installed.
- The glass filter medium in the pool filter was replaced with conventional pool filter sand.
HOW LONG DOES A SMALLER POOL RENOVATION TAKE US?
► No two pool renovations necessarily take the same amount of time.
► Each renovation is different depending upon the factors pertaining to that particular pool.
FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE TIME TAKEN INCLUDE:-
- Size, depth, and, the shape of the pool.
- Ease of access/ positioning of the porta pools relative to where the pool is situated.
- Issues related to the pool superstructure may be uncovered once all the water is pumped out.
- The repair work that is required to address the issues related to the pool superstructure including
curing latent water ingression. - Additional work such as the installation of new suction and return lines, replacement of the pump
and filter, installation of a salt chlorinator, installation of a backwash water saving mechanism also
impacts the time taken to complete the reno. - Application of new pool tiles such as ceramic mosaic pool tiles and the amount of tiling work required.
Generally, smaller pool renovations take between 5 and 8 working days to complete.
